DLF EMPORIO SAFETY SPECIAL

Tying the knot in a far-flung locale is romantic—but requires more planning than just buying a plane ticket
and booking a hotel. One must keep in mind that attention to safety is extremely essential to ensure
a wedding of your dreams. Here are a few pointers:

Keep your luggage safe. There are chances of theft while travelling. So it is very important for you to be careful and never keep your luggage unattended at any cost. All jewellery must be kept in password protected lockers while stepping out of your resort
Don’t play with fire. For example- fire lanterns and bonfires should always be kept in check. You must be careful with firecrackers used during the wedding and strategically place buckets of water/sand to put them out
Swimming pools and open access to beaches must be controlled. Beaches can be dangerous for unsupervised children roaming loose. Therefore, emergency equipments like life jackets , speed boats should be in handy
Keep your insurances ready. Before travelling the distance make sure that you have the travel and the health insurance ready in advance
Mind Mother Nature. Don't just assume that the weather in your chosen destination is gorgeous year-round. See what options are available beforehand, and keep an alternative location ready in case of emergency. You must consider the climate when choosing your wedding dress. Wearing your designer satin lehengas in tropical humidity or asking your groomsmen to wear tuxes or shervanis in the sun will be a torture
Be careful with your food preference. The cuisine that suits you might not suit your guests. People prone to food allergies should be extra careful. Hence, servers should carry a placard that gives detail of the core ingredients used to avoid any unfortunate situation
While travelling, carry your basic first aid and medicine prescriptions
The decorations like lights and outdoor electric points should be checked. There are chances of short circuit during rains and elaborate lightings can lead to overloading of electric connections. Make sure all the connections are properly covered and away from the crowd
You should check in advance the alcohol license of that country or state before serving liquor at your party
Ensure there are no other events taking place that weekend. While most luxury resorts wouldn't be organizing several weddings at the same time, you should make sure that there aren’t any other local festivals on your special day otherwise it would be a total chaos to handle the large gathering
