Harry Winston shared his love of diamonds with his son Ronald, who assumed leadership of the company in 1978. Ronald Winston is an authority on rare, coloured diamonds; he is also a

renowned inventor and designer and holds many patents for important innovations in the field of precious metals. His dream was to create a collection of rare beautiful timepieces. In 1989 he put his dream to the test and created a collection made of the finest stones and precious metals, each timepiece a jewel in its own right.
